RIFT acronym anarchy and process associated patents

There are many different abbreviations/acronyms used for resin infusion processes, although most can be mapped onto the RIFT taxonomy.  In the list below, beware of misleading terminology as (a) RTM in longer abbreviations does not necesarily imply two solid mould halves, and (b) while infusion nornally implies vacuum-driven and injection implies pressure-driven some examples interchange the two terms.  Items in italics are not specifically infusion processes but are relevant in the wider context.
